Normally there are pending injuries that are up in the air for a week of NFL football the Friday night before, and there would be a mystery whether those players would suit up. There isn't a lot of mystery this week: A lot of guys are beat to hell and have already been ruled out. Jay and I made our picks a day earlier than usual in order to accommodate me working at the U. of Memphis football game Saturday night. But we didn't need any contingency picks because no major players were undecided. They're either up or down, which made our selections much easier. Of course, we're disagreeing on most of the picks. We're heads up on eight of the thirteen remaining games, and we differed on the Thursday nighter won by Jay. In fact, we're battling on each and every one of the early Sunday games, not counting the uber-early England game. And after all that, we'll probably split 'em. Here are the Week 5 picks:
